I Made a Blog!

I've created a blog page on my app portfolio website. I intend to use it to document the work I am doing and to talk about the things i have learned along the way.
How it works
I am using Sanity and Next.js.
In sanity, for now at least, I have a basic set up for creating blog posts and authors. There are also Categories but I have not created any yet.
In my Next.js app I've created a Blog page that will display all my posts and a post page that will display the contents of the post. For now it is very basically designed but I wanted to focus on just getting the content out for now.
Goals
I want to create content. I am trying to get out of my own way as much as possible. I have a mental block of thinking what I create is not good enough. And while it is probably true that the quality of my work will be slightly lacking I think there are 2 things that over power that.
- I will get better if i just do it
- other creators are not better suited for creating than i am (with many exceptions)
It's obvious that the more i do this the better I will get. And more importantly I can guarantee I will not improve if I don't do it.
The second point is something I have come to realize lately. Most content creators don't necessarily have a better reason to give their opinion on things than I do. I think I have always assumed people who create content are better equipped to do so than others, while this is certainly the case for many people it is not for all. Some people just do it and figure it out along the way. I can be one of those people.
Well any way I'm going to try. You will hear from me again and I will try to convince you I am worth listening to. Or you can just follow along and see how I mess my projects up!
